Hotel Engine is pleased to introduce two new executives who have joined our leadership team: Vishal Saxena, VP of Platform Engineering, and MJ DeHart, VP of Client Operations.
Vishal comes to us most recently from Uniphore, an AI, analytics and automation unicorn, with past product and engineering leadership roles including Acqueon, Avaya (acquired his startup Roubroo), Walmart and Oracle.
Vishal has a strong track record of launching successful, award-winning and market-leading business application products with a focus on delightful user experiences. With experience spanning both startups and large enterprises, Vishal brings the versatile expertise Hotel Engine needs to continue fine-tuning our user experience, scaling and powering up our platform with the use of AI.
“My mission at Hotel Engine is to build a rock-solid engine which will power us to be the AI-driven, personalized and predictive corporate travel platform,” says Vishal. “We are laser-focused on our customers, and we depend on a reliable platform to continue delivering unmatched value and user experience to our members.”
Vishal is based in the San Francisco Bay area, where he loves spending time with his two amazing daughters and wife, as well as engaging in other hobbies like road biking, hiking (anywhere from the Himalayas to the Sierras!) and reading historical fiction. Vishal is an avid traveler and especially loves to visit lesser-known towns in Southern Europe.
On the client operations side, MJ DeHart joined Hotel Engine with the goal of building a best-in-class customer experience — one that is streamlined for internal success, while also giving customers the ease of control to self-serve and immediately resolve their own issues. Prior to joining our team, MJ has led operations and support-related teams at the Health and Safety Institute, DealerSocket, Adobe and more.

Outside of work, MJ spends her time wrangling her three young sons and engaging in adventurous outdoor activities and creative pursuits. Her favorite travel experiences are any that have involved rivers, like multi-day whitewater rafting trips.
Along with the rest of our skilled and driven leadership team, Vishal and MJ will play vital roles in forging our path ahead and scaling our business for continued growth.
