The start of the new year brings two new additions to Hotel Engine’s leadership team. We are pleased to welcome aboard Chris Chi, Vice President of Revenue – Lodging, and Harmony Anderson, Vice President of Revenue Marketing. These talented new leaders fill key roles in support of our ambitious revenue growth goals for 2023.

Chris Chi comes to Hotel Engine with an extensive background in sales and operations leadership, having spent 14 years driving scalable, efficient growth within the sales organization of WeddingWire/The Knot. During his tenure with the organization, he was able to explore passions including pricing and packaging, go-to-market strategy and change management. Seeking a change of pace after the birth of his son, Chris entered the world of consulting, which brought him to Hotel Engine.

After several months in a consultant role, Chris felt drawn to the passion, people and excitement of Hotel Engine’s entrepreneurial culture and fast growth trajectory and agreed to come on board full time. “Everyone I had the opportunity to work with was extremely passionate about the business, biased towards action and holds themselves accountable for their work,” he said. “Even though there are over 500 employees now, there is a definite startup and entrepreneurial feel to working here, which I love.”

As VP, Chris will be overseeing the Lodging and Supply side of the business and working to deepen relationships with hotels and educate them about the value that Hotel Engine can provide. His main priority will be launching Hotel Engine’s first advertisement product to help hotels gain visibility and additional bookings on the network.

Chris lives in the Washington, D.C. area with his wife, son and two rescue dogs. He is an avid practitioner and instructor of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He loves traveling to any destination in Asia as well as Barcelona.

On the Marketing side, Harmony Anderson brings diverse experience building global integrated sales and marketing strategies informed by technology and data. Passionate about operational efficiency, relentless testing and fostering cross-functional alignment, Harmony will be focused on developing a high-performing, revenue-centric marketing organization that drives predictable and efficient growth.

Harmony Anderson and her family

Harmony comes to Hotel Engine most recently from Outreach, where she served as Senior Director of Global Demand Generation and Events. She was primarily attracted to Hotel Engine due the massive potential she sees in the product, saying, “There is no limit for how big Hotel Engine can be. The essential corporate travel market (where we are excelling now) is a small subset of corporate travel, which is a small subset of everyday travel. There is a lot of growth potential, and that is exciting.”

A Kansas City native, Harmony now lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, young daughter Rory (named for the golfer, not the Gilmore Girl) and dog Clementine, who has her own Instagram account. Harmony loves collecting original art, golfing, wine, spending time outdoors and traveling. Her favorite destinations have included Cambodia, Machu Picchu and Morocco.
