Hotel Engine Introduces New VP of Product Operations
Hotel Engine is doubling down on its commitment to product excellence with the addition of a new leader to the product organization: Ali Zaheeruddin, VP of Product Operations.
An energetic and driven product management leader, Ali comes to Hotel Engine most recently from DataStax. Previously in his career, he has spent time standing up Product Operations organizations at Pandora and ServiceNow, as well as leading Industrial Engineering for UPS.
Ali values growing and developing successful individuals and collaborative teams. He believes in adding value to organization by using holistic data to inform decisions, simplifying complex problems and engaging in effective and dynamic cross functional teamwork — all skills that will prove invaluable to Hotel Engine’s continued growth and development.
Ali is pleased to join Hotel Engine because of the opportunity he sees in our product and unique positioning in the marketplace. “I am excited about addressing the gap in the market and serving customers that didn’t have great options in the past for managing their work-related travel,” he shared.
Ali’s goals and priorities at Hotel Engine span program management, data operations, production support and IT. He’ll be focused on enabling rapid but thoughtful delivery of initiatives, enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions, producing a truly remarkable product experience for customers, and providing internal teams with the tools necessary for operating efficiently and effectively.
Outside of work, Ali loves spending time with family, fixing cars and tinkering around — he’s even built a home from the ground up! He also enjoys outdoor activities and traveling, with favorite destinations including Mykonos, Tulum, Barcelona and Hawaii. Ali lives in Livermore, CA, with his wife and three children.
